DEVELOPMENT PLANS

The Library will be closed until mid 2024 for renovation.

You’ll be happy to learn we’ll be addressing ADA standards, becoming more energy efficient, adding meeting rooms, a quiet study room, and updating the bookstore and program room!  

If you didn’t get a chance to pick up your holds or have any current holds you are waiting on, they will be transferred to the Mary Wilson Seal Beach Branch, and if you call our branch, it will be routed to the Seal Beach Library. However, we will have a book drop outside available for returns that will be emptied 2-3 times a week for the duration of the closure. 

While we’re closed it is a good time to familiarize yourself with our other nearby branches. You might even spot some of our staff at one of these locations.
