The Friends of the Library could not achieve any of its goals without its priceless workforce of dedicated volunteers, some of whom are also Board Members. They:
Every year, the Board hosts a celebration to honor the volunteers. In 2019 the party included hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, salads, and desserts. Yum!
We are a community of volunteers and can always use help. Is your spare time looking for something to do? Check out these opportunities below. Training is provided.
Book Store Cashier: Work a 3-hour shift on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday. Cash box, not cash register.
Book Sorter: Work a 2-hour shift sorting, pricing, and putting books into storage. Lifting and physical work are involved. You must be able to lift 25 pounds.
Book Sale Cashier: Work a 2-hour shift every other month. Cash box, not cash register.
Book Sale Setup/Tear-down Worker:
We are thankful for any and all help, so if your schedule does not permit you to participate on a weekly or monthly basis, we still welcome you to volunteer when you can.
